High School Program Policies

Waivers and Releases
All Tufts Pre-College Programs require students to complete a series of enrollment forms that cover policies and procedures, codes of conduct, waivers, health information, and, where relevant, housing information. These forms will be provided after full payment has been received and must be completed prior to the start of the program.
Failure to submit these completed documents will result in withdrawal from your course(s) or the program and students will lose their program fees.
Textbooks can be purchased from the Tufts bookstore in the Mayer Campus Center (46 Professors Row). You are expected to purchase all of the required reading materials for each of your courses.
A syllabus will be handed out the first day of class listing required books and readings. Many students choose to purchase their textbooks in advance — if you know the course number and title of your class, the bookstore staff should be able to assist you in determining the required and recommended materials. (Please note — the cost of textbooks is not included in the Tufts College Experience or Tufts Summer Session for High Schoolers tuition.)
It is not expected that every student will have acquired the course textbook by the first day of the term or class. However, you should make the purchase as soon as you begin your course so that you have all the resources you need in order to succeed in the course.
Tufts Pre-College Commuter students are not permitted on campus between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate dismissal from the program.
Access to Buildings
Tufts Pre-College Commuter students are not permitted to enter a Tufts University residence hall, fraternity/sorority house, or other non-public building under any circumstances except as directed by their Program. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate dismissal from the program.
