* Beginning in Summer 2018, Tufts University will adopt the credit-hour system-used by most universities in the United States. When the new credit system is in place, most full semester courses will be worth 3 credits. Students who matriculate prior to the implementation of the new credit system will see a change in the way in which course credits appear, but Tufts will make every effort to keep degree requirements consistent with information provided in the Student Handbook of the student's year of matriculation. * If you enroll in a course of less than or more than 3 credits, the tuition for that course will be prorated on a per credit basis.

Summer Session: Tufts Graduate Students

Students currently enrolled in a Tufts Graduate degree or certificate program.

Tufts Graduate students will be charged a per course / credit rate consistent with the per course / credit rate of the Academic Program in which they are matriculated, unless otherwise noted. All course restrictions and degree requirements are consistent with Academic Year policies. For information about Financial Aid and other tuition waiver policies, please contact your Program Director. For additional information, please refer to the AS&E Graduate Tuition and Financial Aid website.

Please note: Some SMFA courses require an incremental Materials Fee, ranging from $0-$120, which is assessed to help cover the cost of materials such as models, technology, kilns, studio managers, and more.
